RGP has prepared designs for an outline planning permission, which has been submitted by Maze Planning Solutions, for up to 250 new homes on a large unused employment site at Thornton Road, Bradford.
The project is located on the edge of Thornton and is bisected by power lines crossing the site. This presented both a constraint and opportunity sub-dividing the scheme and by creating two distinct residential areas connected by a linear, landscaped park.
This reduced the schemes potential impact on the surrounding open countryside.
