The Ratcliffe Groves Partnership, established in 1965, continue their 50th celebrations with a mix of the old and new!
Celebrations in London centred around the Sky Garden at the top of 20 Fenchurch Street, otherwise known as the ‘Walkie Talkie’. The Sky Garden offers unparalleled views of London and a unique dining experience. The team also enjoyed a fantastic meal and took time to admire the detailing of this must-see venue.
In Manchester, the RGP team took a very different approach by celebrating with afternoon tea aboard the East Lancashire Railway. The team took-over the recently-restored Observation Salon for an afternoon’s historic journey. The carriage was pulled by an A-Class steam locomotive which was built at the Horwich works in 1896. The steam train was renamed for the day in honour of RGP’s 50th Anniversary.
The Chairman and Founder of RGP Architects, Terry Ratcliffe said; ‘We’re having a great year celebrating our Golden Anniversary with the teams in London and Manchester. I’m very proud of RGP’s achievements and look forward to continuing our celebrations throughout the year with our teams, clients and partners.’
Plans are already afoot for further celebrations throughout the year!
