Proposals have been submitted to Liverpool CC, for an upgrade to Allerton Golf Course. Ratcliffe Groves Partnership’s proposals include a refurbishment on the clubhouse, café extension and the creation of a new golf store. The current building, which is Grade II listed, was taken over by Allerton Golf Trading earlier this year on a 25 years lease.

If the scheme is approved by Liverpool City Council the upgraded course and clubhouse will be open by late Spring 2016.

The improved course will feature two new par-five holes along with a number of new features that will make the course more attractive to golfers… and more challenging!

Reid Lewis, Regional Director at RGP said “The proposals will inject a new energy and enthusiasm, into a very tired and partially derelict, former Municipal Golf Course. The new café and function facilities will bring in much needed revenue to aid in the improvement of the golfing experience at Allerton”

The plans are due to go to committee sometime in October 2105
