Detailed planning approval has been granted to convert and extend Gate House, an existing four storey mixed use retail and office building in the centre of Welwyn Garden City to accommodate a 79 bed Travelodge Hotel.
The project includes the refurbishment of common areas and office space, the relocation of existing office tenants, the installation of replacement Mechanical and Electrical systems, roof and windows.
Works are anticipated to start on site in Summer 2017.
