Planning permission has been obtained for a new Waitrose store on the site of a former JCB factory. The main shopping area is at first floor with an under-croft, 180 space, car park below. The project has already gone out to tender and is expected to be on site by the 16th March 2015 and completing at the end of September.
Lord Bamford has been closely involved with the design concept and the store starts off the commercial element of a JCB inspired master planned scheme.
