RGP were appointed to prepare a masterplan for the redevelopment of the redundant Tarleton Mill site. The site is located on the edge of Tarleton Village adjacent the Leeds Liverpool Canal.

The design promoted a sustainable mixed use development of new homes and B2 employment use, with quality open spaces and green links to the adjacent residential areas.

The scheme took advantage of the excent views across the canal to the land beyond whilst designing out the flood risk issues inherent on the site.
