Wellington Barracks was for many years, the headquarters of the Lancashire Fusiliers. When the Fusiliers moved into new premises in the town centre, this building became redundant and needed new life breathing into it.

On behalf of Circle Leasing Ltd, RGP worked through designs to transform the building into high-grade office accommodation.

New floors were inserted and the roof space utilised by providing mansard features. Essential historical features were retained, preserving the town’s proud connection with the fusiliers which spans hundreds of years..
