We are pleased to announce five promotions at our offices in Greater Manchester and London. These appointments allow us to benefit from the improved skills and knowledge of these key members of staff bring to their positions.

The appointments are;

Reid Lewis – Director
John Hardaker – Associate
Andrew Mitchell –  Associate
Mozhgan Sainia – Associate
Daryl Stallabrass – Associate

Reid Lewis – Director

Reid Lewis joined RGP in 2004 to strengthen our residential and conservation team. He was made a regional director four years later and has just been voted on to the RGP Board of Directors.

Reid was educated at Barnard Castle School, Durham as well as the Tehran British School and qualified as an architect through the Leeds School of Architecture.  He is a keen skier, father and grandfather and is also chair of the Construction Development Alliance, an organisation he co-founded in 2009.

John Hardaker – Associate

John joined RGP in July 2015 following a family decision to move to East Lancashire from Leeds, where he qualified as an architect.  Since joining RGP he has had a fast track, whirlwind year getting to know the new team, helping to deliver the recently completed Nice Pak project and cutting his teeth on sizable and challenging retail schemes at Strood and Sunderland.

Away from work he spends a lot of time with family, including  two fantastic young daughters.  Over the past year much of his time has involved in helping to settle the family into their new surroundings of Ramsbottom, whilst they slowly develop Lancastrian accents! In his spare time he is a keen football fan and keeps active by walking, swimming, running whilst (dubiously) learning to play the guitar.

Andrew Mitchell –Associate

Andrew started work at RGP Architects in Manchester in July 2006 working on projects within the industrial, commercial and residential sectors. In November 2008 he completed his professional studies and qualified as an Architect at the University of Huddersfield.

Away from the office his time is devoted to his partner and 2 children, and enjoying a host of activities and trying to encourage the family to join in with the odd extreme activity.

Mozhgan Sainia – Associate

Mozhgan joined RGP in 2001 a couple of years after moving to London with her husband. It was a busy time, working full time and studying at the University of Westminster for her MA in Architecture. Her involvement in design and construction projects including three Aldi distribution centres earned her valuable experience of multi-tasking at different stages of projects. Extensive participation in the completion of five projects in 2016, ranging from landscape design to design/construction of new retail units is the result of  her years of experience since joining the RGP.

Mozhgan lives in leafy South Woodford in North East London with her husband and daughter who is attending the local grammar school. Her time , while not taking her daughter to different lessons, is spent on reading or, as a film buff, going to the cinema. Her attempt at playing violin wasn’t very fruitful so she has left that to her daughter, who is proving to have a lot more potential !

Daryl Stallabrass – Associate

Daryl joined RGP in 2014 as a Senior Architectural Technologist and BIM specialist, relocating from Oxford where he completed major projects such as; Police HQ PFI, a town centre redevelopment and specialist mental healthcare facilities. Daryl achieved a 1st class BSc degree in Architectural Technology in 2013 and has helped to introduce BIM as a method of working. Since joining the London office he has worked on a number of retail projects and is currently working on a hotel project.

Daryl lives in Wimbledon in South West London with his wife Kayleigh who is an administrator at a Civil and Structural Engineering firm. Out of the office his interests include cycling, squash and improving his golf handicap.
